This hovers at 3.5 stars for me, I'm so torn whether or not I liked it enough to give 4 stars... Marvel in space just really irritates me.. Thanos going on and on for hours about how he's all powerful and can't win the approval of others, and every hero I've never heard of banding together to go to space to challenge Thanos but they talk an awful lot more than they act (which is finally pretty cool at the end). The pluses include the heroes actually stepping up to Thanos, and mostly the last issue. But just too much writing for me, this graphic novel could be half the size and written with a slightly smaller dictionary and be a lot more powerful. The space art was pretty nifty though.. There's a bigger punch to pack in this story, but I'm also not a huge fan of Starlin either so.. If you must discover the story of Infinity Gauntlet or have interest in what could be part of Phase Two at Marvel Studios, be my guest. Other than that, I wouldn't go out of your way to read this one.
