Wow. The last 10 pages or so just blew me away. It was heartwarming and just made me want to cry and smile. Such a great story. It's like a Superman make-a-wish, Big with Tom Hanks, Kick-Ass type comic all rolled up into one. It's a kids dream comic, for adults. There's so much I have to say about this, but I'll keep it to this one bit. Constantly throughout I was thinking a very solid 4-star review, but the last half of the last issue was outstanding. What happens to the evil monkey was very clever and I didn't see it coming but it made perfect sense. The movie premiere sequence at the end is really what just bumped this up for me. It's such a minimal bit in the story, but it means so much to the overall outcome and message. Mark Millar be praised, Superior has the biggest heart of any graphic novel I've read to date.
